Community Outreach Meeting for RC Retail Amherst at 6:00pm on August 6, 2019, in the Webster Ballroom at the Inn on Boltwood (30 Boltwood Ave, Amherst) to discuss the proposed siting of a Marijuana Establishment at in the Town of Amherst. RC Retail intends to apply for a license to operate as a Marijuana Retailer, to be located at 328 College St, Amherst, in accordance with MGL c. 94G, and the Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission's regulations at 935 CMR 500.00 et seq. Topics to be discussed will include, but not be limited to: the type of Marijuana Establishment to be located at 328 College Street in Amherst; plans for maintaining a secure facility; plans to prevent diversion to minors; plans to positively impact the community; and plans to ensure the establishment will not constitute a nuisance to the community. Interested members of the community are encouraged to ask questions and receive answers from RC Retail's representatives about the proposed facility and operations. NOTE: Community outreach meetings are required by the state prior to applying for a recreational marijuana license. Interested members of the community are encouraged to ask questions and receive answers from company representatives about the proposed facility and operations.
